BOOM! STUDIOS PISSES OFF THE PAGANS

"But upon reading this letter from SALEM creators I had to agree wholeheartedly to the last line. “prejudice in all forms is an ugly thing.” and perhaps we had jumped the gun a bit. But personally, I think it was more due to the short synopsis on their site and how it was written."

Indie Comic Review: The Mercuri Bros.

The whole superteam concept changed with the introduction of the Fantastic Four, who were not just a group of heroes, but a family. Johnny and Sue Storm were siblings, Reed married Sue, and Ben Grimm was like the best friend who visits you after college and won’t go away. For all their bickering and quarrels, they are held together by family ties. Family is also central to Thomas Slaski’s new comic book, The Mercuri Bros...

LEFT ON MISSION writer trys to sell his hardcover TMNT for a lot of money on eBay

Creator/Writer Chip Mosher tries to sell his Ultra Rare Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hardcover Collectible with Provenance and NO RESERVE on eBay for a ton of money.

The hardcover is Signed and Limited. Number 226 out of 1,000. TMNT #1 had a printing of 3,000. This is more rare.

Covers issues 1-11 and 3 one shots. Both Eastman and Laird did sketches and signed the names on the inside front cover. 540 pages, covers issues 1-11 and 3 one shots. More info can be found here: http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/books/hardcover.htm

One Owner. Chip bought this after seeing an ad in the Comics Buyer's Guide in 1988. The book was famously late. So much so that the book came with a type written apology. Chip has all the orginal packing and items that came with this AKA provenance :

- the original envelope the book shipped in with TMNT postage stamp
- the receipt with TMNT artwork noting the order that has been shipped
- the letter of apology for the lateness on the book with offer of 5.00 gift certificate from Mirage Studios
- the unopened gift certificate envelope with gift certificate inside!!

Yes, the writer of LEFT ON MISSION is a true geek in that he saved all this stuff for almost 20 years. Reward him for it and bid it up!!!
